Wedding Cakes: what kind of cake are you ?

Wedding bring families together and unite a couple to become one.  The reception is where are the fun begins, the bride lets her hair down and grandma gets her boogie on. But the wedding cake is point where my stomach yearns. I looked forward for the wedding cake . If the cake is not delicious , then why bother get married. Just go to city hall, save a buck. Here are some cakes , I adore :

Mr & Mrs. Nittle 1/11/11: lucky number 1

Anthony Nittle married Nadra Kareem at the The Bonderman Estate in Los Feliz.

Links: Files:  |   |  The wedding took place at 3pm in an intimate ceremony in the estate's outdoor garden . The words of  this couple , were very endearing and thoughtful. Anthony Inchaustegui  was the officiant.

The reception dinner was catered by the gurus at Gus's Barbecue, a South Pasadena legend. The Beef brisket and mash potatoes were the best. they were served with grilled chicken, two salads, corn muffin  and greens.
There were two rooms for guests to have dinner, the main dining room and  the Study  . Each table was set with a beautiful white and rose centerpieces , accompanied by white table clothes and red napkins .

We enjoyed our first wedding of 2011, to be in company of a kind  and enlightening couple.

Wedding in 2011: whose getting married?

On March 28th 2010, my husband and I were married in Marina Del Rey. We enjoyed our wedding on Fantasea Yachts. We enjoyed our day , and many of our guests and family did as well. Quickly afterwards many close friends of our wanted to share in a moment of bliss themselves, so proposals from many men to many women evolved. I have never had to attend more than one wedding in one year , but this year in 2011, an abundance of nuptials will occur. We will not be attending Kate Middleton and Prince Williams nuptials, but I  will be watching them on television. Hello it is a real princess wedding!
       Throughout this year I will be updating this blog with all the unique , interesting , thought provoking  weddings . From LA to Vegas , all the way to the hills of the mid west . Feel free to follow me through my wonderful adventure in wedding bliss. Cake is the big ticket for me in weddings, watch for colorful , detailed pictures!
